Villa Tamarind is a wonderful 4 bedroom/4 bathroom villa offering breathtaking views of the ocean and St. Barths. This lovely villa is located in the gated community of Tamarind Hill offering 24 hour security. It is just a 10 minute drive to downtown Philipsburg, the Dutch capital and about 30 minutes away from the main airport. Just around the corner from the villa, within a few minutes' drive is Dawn Beach, offering the best snorkeling on the island. The famous Mr. Busby's Beach Bar is right on Dawn Beach. If you are bit more adventurous, there is a small beach down the hill from the villa - Red Pond Beach (please note, this is a steep walk back up the hill). The villa is furnished with the island feel in mind offering large open spaces for your enjoyment. The villa comes complete with cable TV, DVD/RADIO entertainment center with UBS port, Ipod dock, wireless internet access, maid service, swimming pool, full equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, linens, bath & beach towels. Upon entering the villa, you are greeting with a large living & dining area decorated with island living in mind with rattan, wood & iron furnishings. The interior dining area accommodates 6 persons. The open kitchen is fully equipped with 4 burner gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The villa can welcome up to 8 guests...All four bedrooms offer air conditioning even though the sea breeze is cooling enough and three of the bedrooms offer fantastic views of the ocean and St. Barths. From the indoor living space you exit through large sliding glass doors that open out to the covered gallery with outdoor dining for 8 persons and living spaces surrounding the pool area. The ample pool overlooks the ocean and the neighboring island of St. Maarten with loungers surrounding it on the sun deck.
